Fantastically Fresh Faces

^^ Alliteration. You like what  I did there? Hmmm?

As you all know, one of my most prized possessions is my skin. I know most people would never consider that as a possession, but I truly take pride in the clarity of my face. As miserable as I can get sometimes about my body (as we all do,)  my skin has always been there for me. So thank you epidermis. I am truly grateful for you. This leads me to write about my affection for fresh and natural makeup. As much as I adore, want and  get jealous of girls who can pull off the full-on makeup look, (yes Tessa and Devon, I am talking to you,) I will never be one of those girls. So I practice what I am slightly skilled at, which is light and fresh looking makeup. My routine is very short and very efficient, something I take pride in! Soon, I'll be posting my daily routine, but for now, let us examine photos of fresh, beautiful makeup.

Alexis Bledel aka Close to perfection. Harrumph.

Model. I can't even begin to talk about how much I adore the simplicity of this face. All attention on the lips!

Leighton Meester. Something about the natural looking vibe on her face gives me great joy!

Another model with gorgeous skin and stunning makeup.

And finally, Anne Hathaway. As you may have noticed, I can't write a post without adding her in it. Obsession? I think not!

  1. Aww thanks for including me in this post mumma!! I've always wanted to add more natural makeup to my routine. You'll have to teach me over the summer :)

  2. Love this! You know me...fresh skin is my favorite thing in the whole world (as weird as that sounds). I think also I must reinforce, if I may, Emma Watson's gorgeous face! Her skin...is a peaches-and-cream dream! Gahhh! I agree 100% with you obsession with natural or no makeup. Cake-y just seems too smothering (and oddly dense- a pore killer!). Vive le naturel!
